Profile

I am a Professor of Information Studies and Director of Center for Surveillance Studies (CENSUS). My research interests include surveillance, philosophy of technology, social media and ethics. Currently, I'm heading two projects concerning interpersonal surveillance: 1) ChIP on surveillance and childhood with a focus on family relations, and 2) LIVSTEGN on surveillance ethics and a safe and dignified life with dementia.
