Research

Agnieszka Radziwon is an Associate Professor of Innovation Management at Aarhus University in Denmark and a Fulbright Visiting Research Fellow at the Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley in the United States.

Professor Radziwon’s expertise is in innovation and technology management. As a scholar, she is looking into a broader perspective of inter-organizational collaboration in various types of (eco)systems. She is interested in the ways knowledge is transferred across organizations, the role of networks in facilitating or hindering innovation, and how institutions codify ideas and practices.

She has published several highly cited articles concerning open innovation, open innovation in science, and ecosystems. She is a co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Open Innovation, Oxford University Press, 2024.

Teaching

Prof. Radziwon has been teaching and supervising both business and engineering students at all levels including Bachelor´s, Master´s, and Doctoral programs.  The study programmes she has been involved in cover, Bachelor in Business Administration, Bachelor i Erhvervsøkonomi (HA), Global Manufacturing Management, Business Development Engineering, Technology Based Business Development and Kandidatuddannelsen i IT, kommunikation og organisation.

Some of the courses she delivers include Qualitative Methods, Innovation Management, and Management of Technology.

Supervision includes a broad range of topics such as open innovation management, new product development, and digital transformation among others. Thesis and Technological Specialization projects supervised by Prof. Radziwon are often conducted in collaboration with Siemens Gamesa, Danfoss, Grundfos, PWC, LEGO, Kamstrup, and many other firms.

Cooperation and dissemination

Prof. Radziwon is actively participating in EU projects such as EINST4INE, and DIP4AGRI and coordinates activities within the Open Innovation Community.
