As a plastic and reconstructive surgery resident I performed research in advanced reconstructive surgery for patients with cancer or traumatic injuries.

Cooperation and dissemination

My research is multidisciplinary and performed with e.g. orthopedic surgeons, clinical biochemists, and clinical engineers. I collaborate with plastic surgery groups in Denmark and the USA.

Job responsibilities

My primary responsibility is research within plastic surgery. I am a research supervisor for PhD and master's thesis students. I perform theoretical and practical teaching in microsurgical reconstruction.
