Profile
Giuseppe Abbiati has a PhD in Structural Mechanics and his research/teaching focus on developing tools for computational modeling, monitoring and testing structural systems. Giuseppe Abbiati’s current funded research projects deal with i) developing new testing concepts for wind turbine components based on hybrid testing and optimal design of experiments ii) implementing real-time simulations for digital twins of infrastructures. These research projects involve students, collaborators from various departments of the university as well as industrial partners.
