The aim of the course is to give the students an insight into and experience with analysing and interpreting audiovisual media productions. Emphasis is placed on practising a precise description of details as well as the major aspects of the object of analysis, so that the analyses include a discussion of the relationship between, for example, stylistic effects, thematic, narrative and genre-specific conditions and media-cultural contexts.
