The aim of this session is to provide and understanding of the concept of structural and commercial determinants in chronic diseases. In addition, students should understand how structural and commercial determinants contribute to the occurrence of periodontal diseases, and be able to analyse how the political, socioeconomic and environmental context contribute to the burden of periodontal diseases.
