Description

The purpose of the course is to provide the students with theoretical knowledge of, analytical skills in and practical production experience with the functioning and expressions of music and sound when they occur as integrated parts of audiovisual products/artefacts, for example films, TV shows, commercials, trailers and/or computer games.
The course gives the students an introduction to the theory of audiovisual relations and to practical production work with sound for audiovisual media. The course will deal with selected types of products with reference to general perspectives on both production and reception.
The course is relevant for students who wish to work with sound production and design for audiovisual media.
