    The Danish Council for Independent Research launches the research career programme Sapere Aude – Dare to know. Danish research is constantly developing and of the highest international quality. This development must be maintained, and to keep hold of the most talented young researchers, new carrier paths must be created to recruit the best researchers. This is why the research training programme Sapere Aude – Dare to know – has been developed. The goal is to develop the abilities of the best research talents, nationally and internationally. The programme is for both Danish researchers and researchers from abroad. For the best young researchers at Postdoc level. The grant type allows the researcher to carry out an individual research project for a period of three years. At the end of the project, grant recipients are encouraged to apply for a Starting Grant from the ERC or other international funds.
