Smart earbud will measure how astronauts sleep

Press/Media: Press / Media

Description

Astronauts find it difficult to maintain a natural circadian rhythm and generally complain a lot about their sleep. Aarhus University's Center for Ear-EEG has developed a technology that can read the brain's electrical activity and map our sleep patterns. The technology, along with astronaut Andreas Mogensen, will travel to the International Space Station ISS to examine the differences between human sleep patterns on earth and in space.
