This seminar explores cases that demonstrate the shifting relationship between science and society-such as the Good GuideT and  The case of the Good GuideT looks at a company using both the Internet and mobile technology to communicate scientific findings from medical research as health ratings for products.  In contrast, goes a step farther by inviting the audience to participate in citizen science. You  will be asked to consider how availability and possibility in Internet and mobile technologies shapes not only how we understand and apply science, but also the practice and place of science in society.
