Is it cruel to kick a robot? And why would people slather the sensors of a surveillance robot with BBQ sauce? We try to answer these and other questions related to the ethics of robot development and use at the seminar "Robot Ethics and Robot Sabotage: Considerations for designing robots worth living with." Ann Katrine Miranda from KEA will give a talk on robot ethics and Jessica Sorenson from Aarhus University will introduce us to the the phenomenon of robot sabotage - the act of deliberately damaging robots.
