Depending on site and extent, a lesion in Broca's area may have disparate effects on linguistic competence and performance. A possible outcome is agrammatism which is a type of expressive aphasia that involves the inability to form grammatically correct sentences, to varying degrees. It is often argued that no two lesions in the brain are exactly the same, and thus it is to be expected that the impact on language is equally variable across patients. In my presentation, I will focus on how aphasics deal with question formation.
