This course offers Ph.d students and Post-docs in the biological sciences an opportunity to learn about funding opportunities and proposal writing from a process and knowledge communication perspective. The course includes three levels of approaching post-doc grant writing-- research design, knowledge communication and language use/argumentation strategies. In addition, they hear from funding agency representatives and are introduced to basic project management tools to communicate their research design more effectively.
