Invited Presentation at Swedish Project Management Association Annual Conference

As organizations increasingly depend on projects, the risk of low knowledge gain due to the temporary nature of project teams can affect organizational knowledge. Understanding the value of knowledge communication within and among projects, as well as from projects to organizations can give project managers a competitive edge in offering added value for the organization. This talk focuses on two types of knowledge communication processes in projects that either link to an organization's cultural resources or work to transform the project and the organization at a fundamental level.
