Project portfolio management (PPM) is more important than ever as organizations need to handle an increasing number and importance of projects. Many of the PPM principles organizations use have been known for centuries. However, nowadays’ organizational demand for flexibility and constant transformation challenge these. This short introduction focus on how PPM principles have changed and provides suggestions on what is to come for future organizations.
