Meeting and greeting cheese

Abstract

Me meet and greet food through names. We approach and classify food through names. Food names are evocative. They grasp our attention in different ways. Through ‘cheese topography’, this paper deals with the logic of food naming practices and the way names enact otherwise absent or hidden affordances.
