Learning Design as a multi-tool for professional development, educational development, reporting, and evaluation

Learning Design is currently being implemented across universities as an effective educational development methodology for integrating technology in higher education (Dalziel et al., 2016). In 2011 the digitalisation of education became a core priority at Aarhus University and Learning Design was in 2013 introduced as an educational development methodology for technology integration at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Aarhus University (ST).

The poster presents how Learning Design is now implemented at ST as a multi-tool with four fields of application: the educational development process, the educational development with technology, the reporting of design and for evaluation. The Learning Design approach is both systematic and flexible and is to varying degrees benefitting from the Learning Design characteristics illustrated in Figure 1.
