Note vedr. afhandling

During his PhD studies, Peter Aasted Paulsen have investigated the sodium pump, responsible for the high intracellular concentrations of potassium, but low concentrations of sodium.
Peter have developed a new type of inhibitor that binds to a recently discovered regulatory site of the sodium pump, with a potential use in the treatment of a severe neurological disease, heart failure and cancer.

The PhD degree was completed at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Science and Technology, Aarhus University
