Cultural-historical hyperobjects

New ways of analysing will reveal that we need culture– culture contrasts
in order to explore the diversity in by whom, where, and why Styrofoam cups
are formed. Though all humans can be ethical some material practices influence
and indeed contribute more to the creation of hyperobjects than others.
Anthropocene were not made by or used by all humans. Styrofoam cups are
only produced and consumed in some parts of the world. The “capitalist” culture
bears almost full responsibility (Moore, 2015 ). Culture– culture analysis, where
cultures are contrasted in how humans think and re(act) and reason about time,
space, and ethical responsibility, will reveal dimensions of a potentially responsible
collective consciousness. Thus it is here we may begin with asking new
questions about a transformation of material practices, which will in turn transform
us to become more ethical beings. This is the promise of cultural historical
psychology.
