Corrigendum to ‘Potential of novel cadaverine biosensor technology to predict shelf life of chilled yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares)’ 107458, 119, 2020

Abstract

The authors regret to inform the readers that in the published version of article there were errors in relation to two issues in the text. These concern the total QI sum of the preliminary and final QIM scheme, and the measurement units of tissue cadaverine. Related changes in text regarding the QI range: - of the preliminary QIM scheme, refer to Pg. 2, 2nd column last line, where the range should be corrected to “0–13”.- of the final QIM scheme, refer to Pg. 3, Table 2, last row; Pg. 4, 1st column, 2nd paragraph, last line; Pg. 5, 2nd column, 3rd paragraph, 1st line, where the range should be corrected to “0–11”Related changes in text regarding the measurement units of tissue cadaverine, refer to - Pg. 9, Fig. 7, Y-axis, where the measurement units should be corrected to “μg of cadaverin/Kg”, see amended Fig. 7 included herein. [Figure presented] Fig.7 with amended cadaverin measurement units. - Pg. 9, Fig. 7, legend, where the measurement units should be corrected to “μg/Kg”- Pg. 9, 2nd column, 2nd paragraph, 4th and 12th line, where the measurement units should be corrected to “μg per kilogram”- Pg. 9, 2nd column, 2nd paragraph, 7th -9th line, should be corrected to “ …, cadaverine exhibited a very fast accumulation rate in the tissue, but remained below the toxicity limit of 2000 ppm for T3 and T4”- Page 10, 1st column, 1st paragraph, 11th line, where the measurement units should be corrected to “(μg/kg)”With the exception of the erroneous statement on toxicity and the observed levels of cadaverine, our corrections do not affect any part of the discussions and conclusions of the manuscript. The authors apologize for any inconvenience the errors may have caused.
