Projektdetaljer
Beskrivelse
The Art of Creation study involves partnerships between two research institutions, two major cultural institutions, numerous community stakeholders, and local artists. The goal of the study, running in two mid-sized cities in Canada, is to use art and art education to translate insights about biology and developmental and health sciences during critical developmental stages like pregnancy and infancy to a wide audience.
Nøgleresultater
Pregnant people and artists enjoy learning about the science and exploring the key scientific themes through art. The partnerships between the research institutions, the cultural institutions, and local organizational structures like "the healthy families division" of the local public health administration can productively work together to promote health through art. Participants in art workshops develop and strengthen relationships and support networks through participation.
