Beskrivelse
The overall aim of the project is to reduce the environmental and climate impact of agricultural production by creating the economical basis to stop drainage of peatlands.
The objectives are to
- obtain more knowledge for optimal establishment and management of alternative flooding tolerant crops
- characterize the fiber fraction from the side stream when leaf protein is extracted in biorefineries
- investigate how the fiber composition depends on the nutrient status, harvest time and frequency of the crop
The project is financed by Gluds Legat.
