Beskrivelse

The aim of the project is to increase local sustainable protein production by increasing perennial forage crop production and via further development in biorefining techniques increase protein extraction efficiency, protein yield and the nutritional quality of the biorefined fractions. The overall aim is hereby to reduce dependency of overseas imported protein, and at the same time reduce carbon footprint and nitrogen leaching.
