Educational Video Library in Odontology

The project objective is to develop an educational video library in odontology using virtual authentic patient cases. The virtual patient cases in the video library are conceptualized within an e learning design model to facilitate different blended learning formats. The virtual patient cases will interactively demonstrate technical skills, dental procedures, approaches to and communication with patients and clinical collaboration between dentists and clinical assistants. The development and research group is a joint collaboration between Department of Dentistry and Oral Health and Centre for Health Sciences Education, at Aarhus University. The project is partly funded by the EDU-IT pool.
