Beskrivelse

The new developed laboratory is used for radioecology studies covering non-human biota from Arctic terrestrial and aquatic (marine, freshwater) ecosystems. Work is carried out in conection with the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme (AMAP) with a special emphasis on the naturally occurring radionuclides (NOR) in Greenland. The radioecology laboratory measures also the radioactive contamination in foods and environmental media, NORM waste etc.
