Children and aolescents personal memories from the corona lock-down period in Denmark

Our study examines children’s and adolescents’ autobiographical memories for the lock-down period and their psychological adjustment. We sought to examine the characteristics and function of autobiographical memory during the lockdown period. Specifically, we were interested in whether we could identify themes, including description of stressful or anxiety-inducing events, and response and coping strategies to those events. Furthermore, we sought to establish whether the content of the memories would be associated with children’s psychological well-being and adjustment during and after the lock-down.
