The Lawrence Longley Award is given to the best article on representation and electoral systems published in the previous year. It is awarded by the Representation and Electoral Systems section of APSA. The award was given for the journal article "Does Political Affirmative Action Work, and for Whom? Theory and Evidence on India's Scheduled Areas", published in American Political Science Review.
