I conduct research in occupational and environmental exposures, especially noise, chemical risks, and related health outcomes. I develop job exposure matrices and apply them in register-based cohorts. My research supports safer workplaces and evidence-based guidelines for health professionals.

Profil

As a Senior Registrar and Clinical Associate Professor in Occupational Medicine, I focus on occupational and environmental exposures. I primarily work with exposure assessment, job exposure matrices and related health outcomes. I hold an MD and PhD and lead research projects, supervise students, and contribute to editorial and scientific committees.

Rådgivning

Based on my exposure research, I advise health authorities and expert committees on chemical thresholds and workplace safety. I am also part of scientific councils, editorial boards, and grant review panels.

Samarbejder og Formidling

I collaborate with international research networks and national agencies on occupational exposure and health projects. The goal is to improve risk assessment tools and harmonise guidelines across countries.

Undervisning

I teach occupational and environmental medicine and epidemiology on medical and public health programmes. I use research-based, case-oriented teaching to enhance student understanding. I have contributed to curriculum design and research supervision at all levels.
