Carl Petersen's Foundation since 2017. Member of The European Society of Immunodeficiency Diseases (ESID) and The Danish Society for Infection Medicine. Member of the working group for implementation of whole-genome-sequencing in clinical medicine under the Danish National Genome Center (NGC). Member of the Danish Study Group for infections in the brain (DASGIB). Member of the International Organization Committee for ESID2024 in Marseille.

RESEARCH GRANTS (as PI)

Unbroken funding from FSS since 2008 (programs: “delestilling” and Project grant [DFF1]. The Novo Nordisk Foundation (2016-2018), Lundbeck Foundation (2015-2017), and AUFF (Starting Grant, 2016-2018). Leader of Grand Challenge Grant from the Innovation Fund Denmark (3.5m EUR, 2018), and Co-PI on national and European grants (e.g. H2020 ITN) for more than 6m EUR.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

I have a large international network, both on the clinical and basic side of primary immunodeficiency and pathogenesis research. This is reflected in my publication record, where most papers include international collaborators. Examples of international relations include: co-PI on H2020 ITN project with 9 European groups, publications with leading centers for Immunodeficiencies in Freiburg (Prof. Carsten Speckmann), publications and Joint “Lundbeck Thematic grant” with Prof. Casanova (Rockefeller University). Member of the Steering Committee for the international COVID19 genetic
effort covid19hge.com lead by Prof. Jean-Laurent Casanova, and responsible for collecting material from Danish COVID19 patients.
