I am currently doing my Ph.D. at Aarhus University in the department of mechanical and production engineering. My Ph.D. is devoted to “going beyond the least cost paradigm” of energy system models as I explore the use of Modeling to Generate Alternatives (MGA) algorithms and how these can be improved. Basically, I have taken a deep dive into optimization theory, uncertainty quantification, and all the theory that lies behind solving linear energy system optimization models to obtain robust information about our future energy supply.
