Personlig profil

Profil

Dr. Min Wu is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University. His main research interests are related to different aspects of materials especially for construction uses, including interaction between CO2 and construction materials (CCUS context), microstructure and properties of cement-based materials, durability design and service life modeling of reinforced concrete structures, novel and sustainable construction materials, recycling and waste utilization, self-healing and self-repairing materials, etc. The research aims to improve our understanding of the mostly used construction materials, i.e. cement based materials, and to create more synergy between two major aspects of construction materials, i.e. sustainability and durability.

The research group has received funding support from various sources, including Danish Independent Research Fund (DFF), Novo Nordisk Foundation, Danish Offshore Technology Centre, COWI Foundation, etc.

Samarbejder og Formidling

We have excellent and unique facilities for cement and concrete, which are open for testing and collaboration. Examples include TGA (METTLER TOLEDO), DSC (TAM Air), particle size analyzer (Malvern Panalytical), gas permeability, high pressure and high temperature autoclave (volume 3L, e.g. to simulate underground carbon storage conditions), large carbonation chamber (volume 750L), concrete abrasion test setups (both for simulating field conditions and ASTM C1138 method), chloride migration test (NT Build 492), etc. Please reach out for details.
