In the frame of his solo long-term project Scars&borders, Mitra Azar have been planning and organizing researches and video/ photographic/ performative shootings in some of the most controversial areas of the planet, in the context of social, political, cultural and ecological conflicts, in places such as Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Syria, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Japan, USA, among others.
