Profil

My primary current field of research is theatre historiography with a special focus on global theatre history in theory and practice. In particular the theory and practice of intercultural theatre since the Enlightenment, with a special focus on the Sino-European axis. I am a convener of the Theatre Historiography Working Group of the International Federation for Theatre Research and also a participant in a number of other international networks with an intercultural approach to contemporary theatre.
