Dr. Janeck J. Scott-Fordsmand has been working for more than 20 years on the ecotoxicology of chemicals, pesticides and nano-/advanced-materials in terrestrial ecosystems. This includes sequencing genomes, identifying key event (KE) and adverse outcome pathways (AOPs), and studying population and community effects. He is an expert in environmental risk assessment, advisor on the international test guidelines, guidance document, testing strategies, risk assessment and governance of chemicals and materials for various national EPAs, Nordic Council, EU (TCNES, ECHA and REACH) and OECD WPMN. Co-Leader of the US-EU Risk CoR. Involved in the scientific part of REACH regarding terrestrial ecotoxicology. He is an experienced project leader national and international projects, e.g., leading large scale European Projects, and has been involved in approximately 50 projects and received funding for many millions of Euros. He is continuously supervising Post Doc and phD students. He publishes continuously in top journals, e.g. impact factors above 30, having more than 10 with impact factor above 10 and around 100 paper with impact factor above 3. He is globally among the top 0.2% cited researchers on soil.
