UPRIGHT Program Adaptation & Validation to regional Needs

Publikation: Bog/antologi/afhandling/rapportRapportForskningpeer review

In order to ensure a high level of commitment in executing the intervention program and obtaining a successful outcome; improved well-being and resilience and a reduction in mental illness, the UPRIGHT program has been thoroughly validated (WP3 Report, UPRIGHT 2018).

The validation phase has been 3-part:

1) An initial validation performed by stakeholders using member-checking methods.
2) An internal audit conducted by an appointed researcher from each of the participating countries
3) A manual validation performed by stakeholders using member-checking method

The work-package WP3 envisages adapting the core resilience program for implementation in local settings, and validating the program with stakeholders (students, teachers and families). The cultural adaptation to different EU regions is based on a modification of the core intervention considering language, culture and contexts in such a way that it is compatible with the students’, teachers´ and families´ needs and interests.

The main objectives are:
• To explore the cultural differences and needs of target groups in each pilot region
• To co-customize the core resilience intervention according to the needs detected
• To validate the resilience program
