My main research interests are the mapping and monitoring of biodiversity using environmental DNA (eDNA), and the possible uses of this approach in basic research, as well as in management and conservation. I have mostly worked with the marine environment, but have recently begun working on eDNA from terrestrial ecosystems as well. I have experience with all stages of eDNA analysis, from field work to bioinformatic and statistical analyses of high-throughput sequencing data, and am currently working on expanding my skills within progamming (R, bash, python) and teaching.
