2023: Recipient of The Jørn Olsen Prize 2023: 25,000 DKK from the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Aarhus University.
2022: PI of an ERC Synergy grant for the project "Untangling the biologic and social causes f low fertility in modern societies" (BIOSFER): 12,000,000 EUR (145,000,000 DKK) with Siri Håberg and Mikko Myrskyla.
2017: Recipient of "Main supervisor of the year" as an appreciation of an extraordinary effort in the guidance of PhD students, The PhD Association and the Graduate School of Health, Aarhus University.
2015: Winner of a Sapere Aude Starting Grant from the Danish Council for Independent Research.
2009: Winner of Young Scientist Award Competition at the Nordic Association of Andrology.

Scholarship from Fulbright Association for an eight months research stay in 2006-2007 at Department of Epidemiology, School of Public Health, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA during my PhD.
SUPERVISION AND MENTORING

I have 182 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. I am the first author of 18 publications (10% of total) and the last author (with major senior responsibility) of 79 publications (44%). In total, my papers have receive 4,360 citations through October 12, 2022 (SCOPUS). My H-index in SCOPUS is currently 34 (October 12, 2022).
