My anthropological research ranges from theoretical and methodological scholarship to applied practice. My current interests are human and social aspects of digital transitions (specifically in urban contexts), urban activism, citizen-engagement and co-creation processes. A large part of my work is firmly anchored in cross-disciplinary and cross-sectoral collaborations.

As senior advisor, with many years experience in national and European research policy issues, I work with communication of research results and interests to politicians, policy makers and funding institutions and the development of interdisciplinary collaborations and strategic multi-sectoral partnerships.
