Publikation: Bidrag til tidsskrift/Konferencebidrag i tidsskrift /Bidrag til avisTidsskriftartikelForskningpeer review

This research adds to the literature that seeks to improve understanding and success in use of scenario planning by showing the effects of presence or absence of congruence between purpose inscribed in scenario construction and the underlying planning purpose of the scenario-sponsoring organization. Congruence between scenario purpose and organizational planning purpose is shown to facilitate scenario use in practice and in this, and in describing how the scenario purpose is founded in choices made in scenario construction itself, the paper advances understanding of conditions that contribute to scenario project success. The findings are derived and illustrated from research into 13 scenario projects.
