The very first results from the research project “Transformative learning spaces for language and learning – the study of multilingual people´s experiences in learning (through) languages” were presented in this paper with the aim to discus, which role the experiences of successful learning of many languages plays for the development of learning ability in general. The learning stories of very diverse multilingual language users, constructed in the project by using a special developed methodology, have been analysed from the ecological perspective on language and learning.
