    Soil ecotoxicological collaboration with Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS)

    Content of visit:
    - Quality check of GMO test data on collembolans produced by dr. Yan GAO.
    - QA and repeated measurements analysis (mixed models) of lab experiments
    - Demonstration of image analysis of collembolan populations for counting and size distribution using the open-source ImageJ software.
    - Demonstration and principles of soil fauna extraction equipment.
    - Analysis of field ecotoxicological data from Fuyang produced during the PhD by Jie XU.
    - Presentation at the SOILREM conference 3rd International Conference on Soil Pollution and
    Remediation: "Assessment of toxicity of heavy metal contaminated soils for Collembola in the field and laboratory".
    - Coaching on collembolan production according to OECD TGD and general issues relevant for a successful breeding to PhD student of Dr. asso.prof. Xin KE and prof. Yongming LUO.
    - Application in Nanjing with SEBC /ISS on network support from Forsknings- og Innovationspuljen.
    - Checking species identy of a sexual strain of Folsomia candida.
