The 1st Danish Project Management research conference will gather a broad spectrum of researchers, practitioners and project management experts to start a dialogue on “theory meets practice in projects”. The distinctive feature of the conference is a dialogue between theory and practice, academics and practicing project managers, which can neither be found at scientific conferences nor at professional conferences. Practitioners are encouraged to share their experiences on project practice and requirements to researchers, who will share their knowledge of theoretical foundations in managing projects in various contexts. The research conference is held as a track in “Symposiet Projektledelse 2015”, hosted by Danish Project Management Association, IPMA Denmark, held 20th ‐21st May 2015 at the IDA Meeting Center in Copenhagen
