“It’s like a family!” How Danish journalists unite across broadcasters

Research output: Contribution to book/anthology/report/proceedingBook chapterResearchpeer-review

Today, journalists in traditional TV newsrooms around the world are challenged like never before to produce fast and engaging content. And while the profession is challenged, the bond among journalists is increasingly strengthened. This unity connects with a shared pride in working as a journalist, a pride that simultaneously unites all staff and distances them from those outside the profession.
This chapter is based on extensive ethnographic fieldwork of newsrooms at the Danish broadcasters TV2 and DR.
