Research concerns educational theory (Didaktik) mainly within higher education. A major, general topic is theoretical re-descriptions of fundamental concepts of teaching and learning using the complex-sensitive approach offered by second-order systems theory. The aim is to formulate an analytical, theoretically coherent alternative to current theories of education. Current topics are curricular issues related to goals, learning outcomes and decisions on content in the university curricula
