Curriculum Vitae

Marianne Livijn is an Industrial PhD candidate at the Department of Management, Business & Social Science at Aarhus University. She is a part of ICOA (Interdisciplinary Center of Organizational Architecture) where she is conducting her PhD project with the title “Macro and Micro Design in Strategy Implementation”. The project focuses on how managers at different levels adapt the organization’s design to specific circumstances in their part of the organization, how the design influences their ability to manage strategy implementation, and how management initiatives at different levels are coordinated.

Main areas of research include:
- Organizational design
- Micro dynamics
- Strategy Implementation
- Strategy-as-practice 

As an industrial PhD candidate, Marianne is employed in the consulting firm, UKON where she works with leadership development, change processes, strategy implementation and HR. Before this, Marianne worked in the IT Industry as HR and Communications Manager.  

Since 2009, Marianne has been teaching on the BA and BSc programs at the Aarhus School of Business and Social Sciences.
