Thanasis has participated in four EU-funded research projects since 2004, as well as several projects funded by the Greek government, on topics such as:
Consumer acceptance of quality foods (organics, PDOs) and novel foods (GMOs)
Food and agribusiness marketing
Promotion of healthy eating (light foods, functional foods)
Food safety communications and food risk management quality assessment
Brand performance measurement

Future research
Thanasis is planning to focus his research more on the analysis of brand performance measures and consumers’ brand and category loyalty.
