Profile

Emma is a PhD fellow and part of the Organisation, Strategy and Accounting (OSA) research section at the Department of Management, Aarhus University.

Research interests include:

Organisational and group behaviour
Organisational ethnography
Practices and processes in organisations, in particular identification and socialisation
Sociomateriality and space


With an ethnographic approach, Emma studies how people come together to work in everyday organisational life. She is particularly interested in understanding the embedded and constitutive processes of working together in groups and teams, including the spatial and material dimensions. 


Emma holds an MSc in Management & Organisational Innovation from Queen Mary, University of London (2012) and a BSc in Business, Language & Culture from University of Sourthern Denmark (2011).
