I work primarily with model organisms (pigs and Drosophila). My focus is on consequences of inbreeding and environmental stress, and my research involves studies of genetic variation at several biological levels – from DNA variation to variation in form and function. I use several molecular tools in my research involving studies on gene expression metabolic profiles.
