Profile

My research lies in the intersection between politics and the economy. Much of my efforts have been directed at investigating how people mobilise to disrupt aggressive economies and what tools channel these forces effectively. I am also more generally interested in economic discourse and its implications for social organisation. My teaching seeks to inspire diverse ways of thinking and doing economy across scales and sectors. I have worked with, and am part of, social movements that counter organized crime, human trafficking, corruption, patronage, environmental destruction and other forms of violence.
