1998 -                 Collaboration with Dr. Luis Álvarez-Vallina, Department of Immunology, Hospital Universitario Clínica Puerta de Hierro, Madrid, Spain. Selection and characterisation of antibody fragments capable of preventing angiogenesis

1998 - 2002       Collaboration with Dr. Uwe Karsten, Dr. Steffen Goletz, Max Delbruck Centre for Molecular Medicin, Berlin, Germany, (Presently Glycotope GmBH, Berlin)development of novel tumor vaccines based on peptides mimicking carbohydrate tumor antigens.

1998 - 2001       Group leader in the laboratories of Professor Brian F. C. Clark, Department for Molecular and Structural Biology, University of Aarhus, Denmark. Work concentrated on developing techniques in directed evolution and phage display.

1995 - 1998       Member of Dr. Greg Winter’s laboratory at the Medical Research Council Centre, Laboratory for Molecular Biology and Centre for Protein Engineering, Cambridge,UK. Work centred on establishing selection methods in protein engineering.

1992-1995         Collaboration with Professor Hugh Zachariae, Marselisborg Hospital, University of Aarhus, establishment of a new treatment for patients with the disease Vitiligo.

1992-1995         Collaboration with Dr. Lars Iversen, Marselisborg Hospital, University of Aarhus, studying leukotriene A4 hydrolase isolated from human epidermis.

1989-1995         Member of a collaborative research group of Professor Brian F.C. Clark, Biostructural chemistry, University of Aarhus and Professor Knud Kragballe, Marselisborg Hospital University of Aarhus, studying Elongation Factor 1 Alpha.
